Blog Hop Day Two

Hi Creative Stampers, welcome to blog hop day two. The two cards I have for today are the same card, I just used different papers and framelits.
The second card is a birthday card for my daughter Gabrielle, she is turning 21 today.

The first card was made with Summer Smooches, The stamp is from word play, I used the lable collection framelits.
The second card was made with Floral District. I love this new DS paper, there are a lot of cool colors and patterns.  I used the Teeny tiny wishes stamps, and used the Bitty banner framelits (new). The card is cut at 5 1/2 x 12, scored at 2 - 4 - 8 10, you need to mark at 2 3/4 mark on each side. Then cut from the inside score line to the 2 3/4 mark, On each side. Take the left over ends and turn over and add to the oppisite side. This is a very simple card to make, however it looks like you put a lot of work into the card. The hardest part was making the cuts match.
I saw this card on a video from Dawn Olchefske.
You should have arrived from Jennifer's blog. If you have not and would like to start from the beginning you can start at Dawn Griffith's blog.

Below is a list of all the hoppers.

Happy Mothers Day

Hi creative stampers
I hope you are having a great mothers day.  Today my husband and son ran a 5k race for mothers day. I was proud of them both; out of 500 people my son came in 93 and my husband came in 138. My husband has not ran in 20 years and my son has just recently started running. Below is the only picture they will let me post. This was one more lap to go. I am so proud of my boys.

Wedding Invitations

Hi Creative Stampers
Here are the pictures of the wedding invitations. The paper and ribbon was not stamp in up. I had these purchased back in January before I signed up. The stamp on the inside of the invitation is from the stamp set is style beautiful, this is a discontinued stamp set; & and; can be ordered until the end of the month or when stock out; which ever comes first.

Wow! 100 wedding invites are done.

Hi Creative Stampers
I am finally done with my daughters wedding invitations. I started to where I only thought I needed 80 well then the kids came over and said oh by the way we did not give you the whole list, then there was 90, then as we are going through checking the invites, I realized in all the hurry I left off 10 more, well luckily when I had to add her other I made a few extra, so today I was finishing up the last 10.  I will be taking them to the post office today.
I have to share this storey about the bride, she is not a bridezella, however she thinks everything needs to be done for her; for example, calling everyone, making the appts, ect.....  she did not even help with the invites, at her bridal shower I asked her to put something on one of the tables, she looked at me and said i am the bride have someone else do it, she is more like a princess than a bridezella, the future hubby will do everything for her. Any way last night I pulled a little joke on her, I told her that it was good luck for only the bride to seal the wedding invitations, not the parents or the groom. It was great watching her face as she licked each one (I told her she could not use a sponge either). She kept saying I think you guys are messing with me, well we were and it was nice watching her do something for once.
I will have the invitations posted soon. The only thing is the paper was not stamp in up paper, I had order this back in January before I started selling. The stamp on the inside is.
Hope you are having a creative day.

Bridal Fun!

Hello Creative Stampers
It has been so busy around here. We had the bridal shower for my daughter on Sunday. we had so much fun. My hubby did not want it at the house so I picked a restaurant close to home and rented a room. It was so nice not to have to worry about food or cleaning. The favors were a hit.
I have been working on the wedding invites, those should be going out this week.
I will have some more things to post after this weekend. I will post the invitation once I am done.
